The choice was Bolney pub meet or Castle Coombe. Jeff Stokes (Evo 6 Makkinen) was driving and his decision was the Action Day and it was an interesting day. The car was displayed on the 200plus stand and my brother Andy went out with Jeff on the track. After a look around the exhibitors, we went down to quarry corner which is a bit tricky and usually provides some action. This certainly happened when it started raining. Highlights were the speed of Simon Norris' Evo 7 and the 420 bhp Cosworth turbo Triumph Dolomite sprint with nitrous. The car sounded awesome but struggled for grip on the track due to an oil leak (which got onto the tyres).
Going back next year...you bet! My GTR on the track....no chance!
