The Meeting at the National Heritage Centre at Gaydon near Warwick is hopefully going
to become an annual fixture. Convoys came from the north and the south and coverged on
a small carpark at the side of the main building. After some skyline banter, we met in
the reception and were treated to a guided tour of the collection of british cars
through the ages starting from the late 1800's. Unfortunately I only snapped some of
the more recent models but most marques were represented. After the tour, it was either
lunch in the restaurant or your own car followed by freshly baked cakes and fresh fruit
supplied by Caroline, Simon and Jen. Other than a few spots the rain held off which made
a change. Many thanks to Paul D for organising the meeting and the guided tour. If I have not got your name next to your car and you want that changing, just email me. |
